As the Polish government claims to fight against transport exclusion, trains are coming back to some routes that were not operated anymore. The merits and impact of these changes are not clear-cut though, as much larger investments would be needed to rescue local lines.

More speed cameras lead to fewer accidents. Europe already knows this

In Poland, we are still talking about increasing the number of speed cameras. In many other countries that debate is over and the conclusions are simple: speed cameras reduce the number of deaths on the road. Sometimes by as much as 70%.

Political ads on Facebook: who spent the most in Poland

Polish candidates to the European Parliament spent hundreds of thousands of złoty on Facebook ads. The most money was spent on European Coalition’s pages. Confederation, on the other hand, has clearly invested in the nationalist leader Krzysztof Bosak.

After the crushing victory of the Law and Justice party in the previous presidential and parliamentary races, the first elections after three years were interpreted as a test of the real support for the ruling party and a forecast for the next ballots. The results of this test were quite confusing.
