Licence

One of the European Data Journalism Network’s purposes is to disseminate as much as possible the content we produce, since we believe it is important that media organisations and other subjects across Europe adopt more and more a European perspective and ground their analyses on data.

This is why you are free to reuse our stories, datasets, and visualizations (or only a part of them), as long as you observe the following terms of use:

  • you have to make sure that you credit EDJNet and possibly also the member that produced the content that you are reusing (e.g. “Divergente | EDJNet”)
  • if you are publishing online, you have to make sure that you include a link to EDJNet’s website.

The default licence for our content is Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0): this means that you are free to share, transform, and build upon it for any purpose; a few articles are released under royalty-free copyright. Any article comes with the indication of the license under which it is released.

In keeping with CC BY 4.0 requirements, you should provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made to the original content. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests that EDJNet endorses you or your use. Moreover, you may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

In case of doubts, please get in touch with info@europeandatajournalism.eu.
