International Social Survey Program

Created in the early 1980s, the International Social Survey Program (ISSP) is conducted in more than 40 countries around the world and is the subject of numerous research publications. Its methodology and implementation is coordinated by various institutions in several countries.

Each edition covers a specific theme, which is repeated approximately every ten years. Themes include the role of government, religious issues, family and gender development, career guidance, national identity, etc. The data can be downloaded freely for STATA and SPSS.
