Global wealth and income inequality

Created in January 2011, the World Inequality Database aims to provide open and convenient access to all existing data. It is an important source of information for public debate on income inequality.

With contributions from over a hundred researchers, the database includes more than thirty countries and covers almost the entire 20th and early 21st century.
