Environmental impact of companies (Mana-Vox)

Launched last October, the Mana-Vox platform ranks companies according to their environmental impact (deforestation, threats to biodiversity, support for fossil fuels, etc.). Freely accessible, the site compiles information provided by NGOs and alerting agents with whom its curators are in contact in the countries where the multinationals concerned are based. Mana Vox intends to address both citizens and socially responsible investment advisors who, according to the platform’s founder, often lack the tools to identify more or less polluting companies.

Each listed company has a sheet mentioning the countries where it impacts, the areas concerned (water, toxic products, biodiversity, etc.), the list of recent controversies that have affected it and, finally, a global level of vigilance. 35 companies considered to have the greatest impact on the forests are identified by the platform (including Nestlé, Unilever, Ikea and Wal-Mart). Mana-Vox is expected to grow in the coming months.
