Social expenditure (OECD)
At the end of January 2019, the OECD published a new report on the level of social expenditure. An interactive data table is available to compare public and private social spending within countries as a percentage of GDP.
“The tool has thus been created in order to provide an instrument for monitoring the evolution of social spending as a whole and analysing changes in its composition,” the institution says. The data can be downloaded in several formats.
