Energy challenges and opportunities: what can REPowerEU achieve?
Investigation on the REPowerEU funds, their allocation on national and target basis, and the results achieved so far by member states.
Methodology
This investigation tracks the results obtained by the REPowerEU plan implemented by the European Union, aimed specifically at strategically reducing the EU's energetic dependency from Russia, 4 years after its first entrance into practice. The Openpolis team broke down the available data into funds allocated by country, expenditure towards climate objectives per policy area, climate targets, and energy production in total available energy comparing figures from 2020 and 2024.
