The Internal Border Maps Fueling the Far-Right Vote in Europe
Analysis on internal imbalances between regions and disparities in economic development, and how these may be exploited by far-right parties to increase their electoral support.
Methodology
The analysis relies on a combination of different data on the demography and economic development of European regions, together with relevant information on the electoral behavior between 2019 and 2023 at NUTS3 level. The last layer of investigation focuses on the availability of public management and services across European regions.
