Unemployment is growing in France, while declining in the EU

The unemployment rate was 9.2 percent in France in May, compared to 9.1 percent in November, while in the same period the unemployment in the European Union has decreased from 7.3 percent to 7.0 percent.

This means that France has seen a more negative development than the EU: in November the unemployment was 1.8 percent units higher in France than in the EU, now it is 2.2 percent units higher.
