Unemployment is declining more in Spain than in the EU

The unemployment was 15.2 percent in Spain in June 2018, compared to 16.5 percent in December 2017. In the same period, unemployment in the EU has decreased from 7.3 percent to 6.9 percent.

This means that Spain has seen a more positive development than the European Union: in December the unemployment rate was 9.2 percent units higher in Spain than in the European Union, now it is 8.3 percent higher.
