Unemployment is declining more in Slovenia than in the EU

The unemployment rate was 5.2 percent in Slovenia in March 2018, compared to 6.4 percent in September 2017, while in the same period unemployment in the European Union has decreased from 7.5 to 7.1 percent.

This means that Slovenia has seen a more positive development than the rest of the EU: in September 2017 the unemployment rate was 1.1 percent units lower in Slovenia than in the EU, now it is 1.9 percent lower.
