The unemployment rate is declining more in Cyprus than in the EU

The unemployment rate was 7.1 percent in Cyprus in February, compared to 9.4 percent in February 2018.

This means that Cyprus has seen a more positive development than the rest of the European Union.

In February 2018 the unemployment rate was 2.3 percent units higher in Cyprus than in the European Union, now it is 0.6 percent units higher.

The unemployment rate in the European Union has decreased from 7.1 percent to 6.5 percent.
