The unemployment rate among women is declining more in Belgium than in the EU

The unemployment rate among women was 4.8 percent in Belgium in December, compared to 5.9 percent in June.

This means that Belgium has seen a more positive development than the rest of the European Union.

In June the unemployment rate among women was 1.2 percent units lower in Belgium than in the European Union, now it is 2.0 percent units lower.

The unemployment rate among women in the European Union has decreased from 7.1 percent to 6.8 percent.
