The unemployment is declining more in Finland than in the EU

The unemployment rate was 7.1 percent in Finland in November 2018, compared to 8.4 percent in November 2017. In the same period, the unemployment in the European Union has decreased from 7.3 percent to 6.7 percent.

This means that Finland has seen a more positive development than the rest of the European Union. In November 2017 the unemployment was 1.1 percent units higher in Finland than in the EU, now it is 0.4 percent units higher.
