The confidence of consumers is increasing in Lithuania while decreasing in the EU

In September the confidence of consumers in Lithuania increased considerably compared to the same month last year.

In September the confidence of consumers in Lithuania increased considerably compared to the same month last year, up from -7.6 to -1.1.

In the same time, EU countries consumers confidence have decreased slightly, down from -1.6 to -2.8 on average. This is the lowest recorded level since May 2017.

Lithuania now has the 13th highest confidence of consumers in the EU compared to the other 28 countries. Malta has the highest confidence of consumers (23.6 points), while Greece ranks last (-44.9 points).
