The confidence of consumers is decreasing more rapidly in Bulgaria than in the EU

In November the confidence of consumers in Bulgaria decreased significantly compared to the same month last year, down from -22.4 to -31.1.

In the same time, EU countries consumers confidence have decreased somewhat, down from -0.7 to -3.7 on average. This is the lowest recorded level since March 2017.

Bulgaria now has the second lowest confidence of consumers in the EU compared to the other 28 countries. Malta has the highest confidence of consumers (22.7 points), while Greece ranks last (-35.8 points).
