The confidence of consumers is decreasing in the EU – while stable in Germany

In November the confidence of consumers in Germany remains on more or less the same level as a year ago. In the same time, EU countries' consumers confidence have decreased somewhat, down from -0.7 to -3.7 on average. This is the lowest recorded level since March 2017.

Germany now has the eighth highest confidence of consumers in the EU. Malta has the highest confidence of consumers (22.7 points), while Greece ranks last (-35.8 points).
