The confidence of consumers is decreasing in the EU — while stable in Denmark

In September the confidence of consumers in Denmark remains on more or less the same level as a year ago.

In September the confidence of consumers in Denmark remains on more or less the same level as a year ago.

In the same time, EU countries consumers confidence have decreased slightly, down from -1.6 to -2.8 on average. This is the lowest recorded level since May 2017.

Denmark now has the third highest confidence of consumers in the EU compared to the other 28 countries. Malta has the highest confidence of consumers (23.6 points), while Greece ranks last (-44.9 points).
