The confidence in the economy is decreasing more rapidly in the UK than in the EU

The confidence in the economy in the United Kingdom decreased significantly in May 2019 compared to the same month last year, down from 107.3 to 94.5 points.

In the same period of time, confidence in the EU countries' economies has decreased as well, down from 111.8 to 103.8 points on average.

United Kingdom now has the second lowest confidence in the economy in the EU. Hungary has the highest (114.6 points), while Slovakia ranks last (93.7 points).
