In Greece christian democrats are down by 2.0 points

The party New Democracy (affiliated with EPP) have lost support, while Popular Unity and Coalition of the Radical Left (Gue/NGL) have made some gains.

In Greece nine polls were recorded between February 1 and March 31, 2019. GUE/NGL has gained support in the polls, while EPP, ALDE, and ECR have lost support.

As there are few or no polls on the EU Parliament elections in Greece we analyze polling data for the national parliament. The most recent poll is from March 20, 2019.

What are the trends at the European level?

At the European level, the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) is the group that seems to be taking the biggest hit. It is down by 0.5 points to 13.7 percent. Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy (EFDD) and the European United Left-Nordic Green Left (GUE/NGL) are also down in the latest polls by 0.4 and 0.3 points.

The EP groups with the biggest increase across the continent are the christian democrat EPP and the social democratic S&D, up by 0.8 and 0.8 points respectively.
