Female unemployment is declining more in Spain than in the EU

The unemployment among women was 16.3 percent in Spain in November 2018, compared to 18.3 percent in November 2017. In the same period, female unemployment in the European Union decreased from 7.6 percent to 6.9 percent.

This means that Spain has seen a more positive development than the rest of the European Union: in November 2017 the unemployment among women was 10.7 percent units higher in Spain than in the EU, now it is 9.4 percent units higher.
