Female unemployment is declining in Finland, but less than in the EU

The unemployment rate among women was 8.3 percent in Finland in March 2018, compared to 8.4 percent in March 2017, while in the same period female unemployment in the EU has decreased from 8.2 to 7.4 percent.

This means that Finland has seen a less positive development than the rest of the European Union: in March 2017 the unemployment rate among women was 0.2 percent units higher in Finland than in the EU, now it is 0.9 percent higher.
