One of the European Data Journalism Network’s purposes is to disseminate as much as possible the infographics and the stories we produce. So you are free to reuse them, as long as you follow the Terms of use.

If you are a member or a partner of the European Data Journalism Network, you can fully reuse the content produced within EDJNet, provided you credit the producing partner and EDJNet (e.g. “Spiegel Online | EDJNet”). Want to become a member? Check out our partnership policy!

If you are a third party, you can of course reuse the stories and the infographics published by EDJNet once you make sure you credit the producing partner and EDJNet (e.g. “Spiegel Online | EDJNet”). If not mentioned differently, the default licence is Creative Commons "Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

You’re interested in republishing only parts of our stories? There is no problem quoting and publishing snippets of our content, provided you credit the partner and EDJNet (e.g. “Spiegel Online | EDJNet”), and you link to the original article on the partner’s site.
