Can data journalism bring about new ways of reporting on European affairs?

Almost two years have passed since EDJNet kicked off. It is high time to take stock of what has been achieved and of what can be improved. Our online survey aims to assess ways to make the coverage of European issues more straightforward, more compelling and – above all – more data driven.

The survey is open to all journalists, editors and newsrooms interested in exploring the potential of data journalism to enhance their reporting on any subject concerning European citizens. It consists of 48 questions divided into 6 sections: Skills and team; Working with data; Cross-border collaboration; Ethics; Distribution and Impact; EDJNet.

We estimate that the survey takes up to 15 minutes to complete. Submissions are open until September 30, 2019.
