Every year, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) publishes the report "European Club Footballing Landscape ", an overview of European clubs, their influence and financial health.

The ninth and last report in the series processes data for the year 2016-2017. One learns that among the multi-club investors, 12 are private investors; that football matches attendance remained stable between 2016 and 2017; that AS Monaco got the most net transfer earnings; and that football players are more followed on Twitter while clubs are more followed on Facebook. The report is available in English, French, German, Russian and Mandarin.
