Atlas of Economic Complexity

The Atlas of economic complexity is tool that allows people to explore global trade flows across markets, also over time, and growth opportunities.

The Atlas of Economic Complexity places the industrial capabilities and knowhow of a country at the heart of its analysis. Developed at Harvard’s Growth Lab, within the Center for International Development at Harvard Kennedy School, the Atlas combines trade data with synthesized insights from the Growth Lab’s research in a way that is accessible and interactive.

Today, The Atlas is used worldwide by policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, academics and the general public as an important resource for understanding a country’s economic structure.

The data can be viewed online or downloaded in tabular format.
