Data Search Engine, use case 2
You’re working on salaries in Europe?
Suppose we are using the English version of the Data Search Engine. Entering “salaries”, we get 518 results, which can be filtered by categories, countries and format (for example, csv ). From this list we can obtain a dataset on British directors' salaries and benefits .
Repeating the search with “wage” instead, the search engine suggests a range of keywords, such as “hourly wage ” or "wage cost ". If we digit “minimum wage ” we can, for example, choose to explore in more detail data from the EU Open Data Portal , and access a map (with an accompanying table) of minimum wages in Europe.
