The confidence of retail businesses is increasing in Lithuania while decreasing in the EU

In October 2018 the confidence of retail businesses in Lithuania increased considerably compared to the same month last year, up from 4.8 to 12.7 points.

In the same period of time, confidence in retail businesses in the EU has decreased slightly, down from 3.1 to 2.3 points on average.

Lithuania now has the eighth highest confidence of retail businesses in the EU. Slovakia has the highest confidence of retail businesses (27.2 points), while Belgium ranks last (-17.5 points).
