The confidence of consumers is decreasing more rapidly in Slovenia than in the EU

In September the confidence of consumers in Slovenia decreased somewhat compared to the same month last year.

In September the confidence of consumers in Slovenia decreased somewhat compared to the same month last year, down from -4.5 to -8.9.

In the same time, EU countries consumers confidence have decreased slightly, down from -1.6 to -2.8 on average. This is the lowest recorded level since May 2017.

Slovenia now has the sixth lowest confidence of consumers in the EU compared to the other 28 countries. Malta has the highest confidence of consumers (23.6 points), while Greece ranks last (-44.9 points).
