Comparative Study of Electoral Systems

The Comparative Study of Electoral Systems is an international network of studies on national elections.

A micro aspect is developed through a common module of questions included in the post-election survey of each participating country, complemented by a macro approach presenting the aggregated results and the electoral rules used. This allows to analyse, in particular, the effects of electoral bodies on citizens' attitudes and behaviour and to evaluate democratic institutions through different political regimes.

The data can be downloaded after registration on the website.
